Pen Club

I rarely go to this fun grouping of visual interpreters (ok, illustrators and friends), but it's nice to have a beer, chat with friends, and draw.

Spotted

While eating breakfast at our local diner, I spotted this lady. I love my neighbourhood!

Stratengers

I am dreaming of the warm sun on my face, relaxing into a chair and having a drink with Jay on the best patio in Leslieville.

Drawing on the past

I love thinking I have found a special place that no one has found before. It makes me feel good. I know the reality, but somehow in the first few minutes when I've happened upon something unexpected, I feel like I've been let in on a secret that only I know. This is how I felt when I was in NYC, waiting for the bus back to the airport, and I 'found' Bryant Park, being set up for a Christmas Fair. I bought myself a coffee, sat down and drew. It was great.

Lunch

Hmmmmm, lunch. Went to Lady Marmalade and ate my favourite sandwich, the brie/avocado and bacon on baguette.....Delicious! Jay had the Club. We both ate too fast to share, which was fine with me, because my sandwich was the ultimate!
